Stats and leveling system
The Lands of Radiant darkness works off of a stat system, as well as a levelling system. The levelling system determines how man powers you may possess, and how high any individual stat can be at that level. Each stat determines your characters capabilities, and offer modifiers to combat, or other aspects of the roleplaying experience. Below is a list of all the statistics, and what each modifies. Also all statistics have milestones, wherein your character's prowess in that area increases, allowing them to become better in their chosen field. In addition upon character creation Each stat starts with one point in them, and you will receive an additional twenty points to distribute.
Physical stats:
Strength: The physical ability to move, carry, lift object, how hard one can hit
Endurance/Stamina Ability to take a beating, the higher this is the more resilient your character, and the less damage they will take. Also determines how long one can carry a heavy object, or run full speed, or remain in combat. Increasing this makes your character tireless, able to continue their tasks for hours without rest.
Dexterity/Speed Affects the moving speed of your character, though this includes how quickly you can swing a weapon, or attack, and how agile your character is, and how easily your character can detect things. High Dexterity allows for more fluid melee combat, and better acrobatics.
Mental stats:
Intelligence: How smart your character is, affects their knowledge of the world. Increases the chance to dominate other characters.
Willpower: How determined your character is, which makes them more difficult to control. With a high enough willpower
Source: How powerful your magic can be, it is directly linked to your mana/energy stores, and affect how much of either you have, as well as boosts the power of your spells.
Miscellaneous stats:
Charisma: Charm, and the ability to sway a crowd, or person, with just your voice.
As mentioned above the leveling system limits the amount of points a stat can have, as well as the number of spells you can possess. Now I know you're wondering how you gain levels, and it's quite easy. Each post you make, excluding posts made in the creations sections and mission boards, grant you EXP. You gain 1 EXP per post.
